For me YES

For me YES. Hungriness may result bad effects to the people because there is the posibility  that people may turn into uncivilized one. If you observe someone who is really hungry, there is a tendency that he became rude just only for him to survive. If all the people will get hungry, well for sure our country will not even experience peaceful life. When survibility is the issue, a person became selfish just to save his life. Unlikely with what Guy Fawkes showed, he gave his life just to save his countrymen many years ago that's why he is well-known as Guy Fawkes Night. Guy Fawkes Night commemorates the man caught in the act of the Gunpowder Plot, and the deliverance of the English King. I hope until now there is still a living Guy Fawkes who is willing to fight for his country.

human dietary needs

Yes, that is kind of the main point... if people get hungry they are less willing to follow the "laws of society" (for lack ov better words) and more willing to break those laws in order to feed themselves &/or their children.  Then wars can break out as well as disease and plauges.  Things could get really bad for a large part of human civilization, maybe even a complete collapse throwing us back into a new "dark age".
