Help people in the PNW!

Hey all,
After watching all of the crazy destruction this storm has caused in
Lewis and Grays Harbor counties (and Woodinville- wowsers!), Kay and I
chatted about starting up a local PNW Burners without Borders. A lot
of people down there have lost not only their homes, but every thing
they own. I say that we start with collecting items to donate.
Cloths, blankets, non-perishable food, kitchen supplies, bathroom
supplies, baby supplies, pet supplies, etc. Then, when the people are
allowed back into the area to assess the damage, we should go down and
help them get back on their feet. They are going to need a lot of help
cleaning and reconstructing. Hey, we are good at that!!!
In this vein, I call next Monday's Burner Night at the Lower Level as
the 1st PNW Burners without Borders meeting, at 7pm sharp!
Hope to see you there!
Kitty

SIgn me up! Unfortuantely, I will be in San Fran that night, but I am down for helping.... give me marching orders. This is so great! Amongst us, we should be able to raise a lot of food, clothes, elbow-grease and lift spirits....
