I grew up the Midwest (suburbs of Chicago). Got my degree in Accounting and Finance in North Carolina (ASU) a couple years ago now... Worked in the accounting world for about 8 years and realized it wasn't for me. Changed career paths, worked in the software biz for 10 years (where I met my wife Donna). After the world of high tech, I found my passion - working in the non-profit world - specifically on conservation and and conservation/sustainability-related causes. That's how I landed at Woodland Park Zoo - which is really one of the best kept secrets in the conservation and sustainability arenas. I love playing guitar, hanging with my wife and two dogs Zack and Zoe, hiking, photography and wildlife/wildlife conservation.
