An award-winning writer, photographer and publicist, I hold a certificate in marketing and fundraising for nonprofits and a bachelor’s degree in communications from California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks. Prior to opening my own firm, I managed public relations for five counties at United Way California Capital Region in Sacramento, managed accounts at Mayerson Marketing & Public Relations in Westlake Village and worked with top donors at the national office of The ALS Association in Calabasas.

I also am a volunteer with Women’s Empowerment in Sacramento, an organization that helps homeless women and their children find jobs and homes.
