HFHWC is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. We work in partnership with families in Whatcom County to eliminate substandard housing.

"So where do I fit into this international organization?"

A good question with a simple answer, VOLUNTEER! Thats right, Habitat for Humanity is volunteer run and staff supported. We have build over 24 home in Whatcom County since 1987 and we're not stopping. We use your skilled and unskilled construction enthusiasm to build these homes!

"So what if swinging hammers and power tools aren't my thing?"

Another good question, with yet another simple answer, VOLUNTEER. There is a lot that happens in order to contine to build all these homes; fundraising, committees, office help....the possibilities are endless!
