This spot is never walked or driven on. It's asphalt around a few poles in the center of the divide. Weeds are comon here.

Better there were a raised bed with some coniferous shrubs. Birds are quick to spot a place where humans don't have access to. It would also be difficult for other predators like raccoons to disturb small birds if theyt were to nest in this type of location. Cars whiz past and there's lots of noise, but some small birds quickly adjust to that when they sense basic safety.
