Welcome to the JUST CAUSE beta test website. We're still busily creating this site, but in no time at all we expect to be a robust online social networking site that will actually do some good. The idea, when we had it, was really simple. It was more of a question, really, than an idea. "What if we had a way to connect all the people who care about something, and give them information, tools and a way to interact with each other? Do you think we could solve problems?" I actually stood in front of investors, early on, and said that the goal of this company was to save the world, by convincing everyone that they had the power to do just that.

It isn't so daunting if you break it down to empowering one person to create positive change on their own terms. And then another person. And then another person.

And that's what we're going to do.

And here's what you can do.

1. Set up a profile. Tell people who you are, where you are and what you care about. The more information you put out there, the more likely it is that you will find people, near you, who care about the same thing you do and you can team up to create change
2. Tell us what you're thinking about. Have a question, comment, concern or inspiration about the world around you. Share it in your blog, and invite others to read it - you never know what might inspire someone else to take action.
3. Create a cause. If you care about something, create a public space where people can discuss it, post links, plan events..... build online community around things that matter.
4. Invite your friends to join you. The more the merrier, and the more people, the more power we have to create change.

Unlike other sites, this isn't about talking, JUST CAUSE is about doing something. Together. Yeah, there are a lot of problems out there. But there are a lot of solutions, and a lot of heroes. Which brings us to our final request:
